Dana Meeks, PsyD is a Jury and Trial Consultant who has been providing a strategic advantage to attorneys for over 15 years. Her passion is using a scientific and research-driven approach to analyze case issues and provide valid and reliable information to litigation attorneys that informs their decisions regarding case strategy, demonstration of evidence, witness presentation and jury selection.
Dr. Meeks is a licensed clinical psychologist; she received her doctorate in clinical psychology from American School of Professional Psychology, Bay Area. She geared her education and training to focus on advanced statistical analysis as well as an emphasis in forensic psychology, social psychology, cognition and neuropsychology. In addition to attaining an education and training in psychology, Dr. Meeks worked in-house for a large and very successful civil litigation firm for over a decade, honing her skills as a legal professional while simultaneously utilizing her skills in psychology and research.
Dr. Meeks has focused her career on juror and jury decision making by conducting quantitative research as well as analyzing and incorporating qualitative information to build an extensive and accurate knowledge base. Her dissertation, Juror Decision Making with Regard to Victims: Societal Myths in the Media, Schema Reliance, and Other Factors, explored bias in juror decision making, through experimental research, and confirmed the effect of societal myths perpetrated in the media.
Having extensive experience in litigation and presentation graphics, as well as education and training in clinical and forensic psychology, gives her an edge that sets her apart from other jury and trial consultants.
